3485 Stanford Court Rezoning Approved

On Tuesday October 3, 2017, City Council unanimously voted to adopt a general revision of the City’s zoning map consistent with the land use designation changes adopted in the 2015 Major Update to the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan. The Mt. Calvary Church property, 3485 Stanford Court, is included in this revision of the City’s zoning map. The new zoning for the site is Residential Medium- 2 (RM-2) and will allow for a maximum of 59 units to be built on the property.

At this time, the project is on hold while BHP and Frasier determine the best timing for the development.  Thank you for your continued interest in the project.

As a follow-up to the 2015 Update to the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan, the City of Boulder will bring this property through the rezoning process. The upcoming scheduled meeting dates are outlined below:

BHP and Frasier to Pause Development Project

Through our iterative design and community engagement process, BHP and Frasier have been carefully evaluating the development and future management of the Mount Calvary property. We have decided to temporarily pause the project to continue our thoughtful evaluation of our shared use arrangement with the Church congregation and the future affordable housing project. We are considering whether an alternative development timeline would make sense for the neighborhood, City, Church, Frasier, and BHP residents.

As a result, for now we have paused the Concept Plan Review application to the City. As BHP and Frasier make further decisions regarding the timing of development in the coming weeks, we will provide additional updates. Thank you for your continued interest in the project. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Design Charrette on February 3rd and 4th

BHP and Frasier hosted a Design Charrette on February 3rd and 4th at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church to kick-off the design process for the Mount Calvary Senior Living Project. Reveal Architecture facilitated the two-day event which was well-attended by project stakeholders and the Design Advisory Group members. The design team and attendees explored a variety of options related to site planning including:  building placement, building height, shape of buildings, parking, number of units, and community amenities. We received valuable input throughout the event, and are using the feedback to inform our upcoming Concept Plan submittal this spring.
